Week 33: Ultrasound Photos

We were lucky enough to have yet another sonogram of Baby Blake on December 29th! He's measuring right on track... 4 lbs., 10 oz., and 17 inches long. Less than 7 weeks until he's here!

Week 31: Baby Bump Photos

We went for a mini photo shoot on December 13 to document the baby bump since we're not the best at taking photographs. After a little convincing and bargaining, Brett agreed to do the pictures (what a good husband!).

26 Weeks: 3D/4D Sonogram Pictures

We got to see the little guy in 3D/4D yesterday, November 11th, one more time before he makes his big debut. It was so exciting because he stayed awake for almost the entire half-hour so we got to see him open his eyes, stretch, yawn, stick his hands and feet(!) in his face and then fall asleep.

Here he is trying to suck on his big toe. This is how Brett confirmed that Blake is indeed his son! Just kidding! :)

We LOVE the little guy so much already. We can't even imagine how we're going to feel once he gets here. We're so excited to see him, and hold him, and kiss him, but we can surely wait until he's ready.

Week 23: We're Registered!

22 Weeks: He's Got a Name! And Furniture!

After much deliberation, we've finally named the baby: Blake Preston!

We're all getting used to Blake now that we called him "Carlos" (from the movie, "The Hangover") for the first 20 weeks or so!

And, Blake's nursery has furniture. We love, love, love it... and hope he will too. It's from Pottery Barn Kids; here's a picture:

Well, now that he has a name and furniture, we're on the hunt for bedding. Once we have the nursery together, we'll post some photos.

20 Week Ultrasound Pictures

We went for the baby's 20 week ultrasound on September 25. Thankfully, he looks like a healthy little guy! He was also very, very active... making the sonographer a little impatient, I think.

Here's his side profile. He looks a little fuzzy because he was moving all around. Oh gosh, we're going to have our hands full...

Well, this could be the last diagnostic ultrasound because everything looked good (thank God!). We may go for one more around 37 weeks to determine his weight and length. Either way, we'll have another 3D/4D ultrasound in November. Thank goodness... It would have been very hard not seeing the little guy the last half of the pregnancy!
